social media message · Investment hype
Is the “exclusive pre-launch shares” Facebook post a scam?
A scam. Real share offers do not run on a 20-minute clock.
Below is the social media message itself, with every phrase that gives it away marked and numbered. There are 4 signs to find. It is invented for practice — the pattern comes from the public alert linked at the bottom.
Why it is a scam
- A countdownTwenty minutes is not a market condition, it is a pressure device. Genuine offers come with a prospectus you are expected to read slowly, not a timer.
- A guaranteed monthly return35% a month is not an investment, it is arithmetic that only works while new money keeps arriving. Returns are never guaranteed, and anyone promising it is telling you the one thing that cannot be true.
- Move to DMs for a private linkGetting you off a public post is the point — no comments, no other members contradicting them, no record. The “private link” is the fake platform.
- Members earning is not evidenceComments and member counts are trivial to fake or buy. Look for an Australian financial services licence instead, and check it on ASIC yourself.
What to do
Don’t DM, and report the post to the group admins. Any legitimate share offer is documented, licensed and checkable on ASIC — and it will still be there tomorrow.
